Crumb Cake

1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 cup milk
2 tsp. vanilla
3 cups flour
1 tbs. baking powder
1 tsp. salt

Crumb topping:

1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup flour
1 cup sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon

Cream 1/2 cup butter and 1 1/2 cups sugar in mixing bowl until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Add mixture of milk and vanilla alternately with mixture of 3 cups of flour, baking powder and salt, mixing well after each addition. Spread batter in greased and floured 10" x 15" pan.

Cut remaining 1/2 cup butter into remaining 3/4 cup flour in bowl. Add remaining 1 cup sugar and cinnamon. Mix well. (May add additional flour if too moist and additional cinnamon to taste.) Sprinkle crumb mixture over cake.

Bake at 375 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
